
On December 20, 2021, a delegation from HoAREC and SIDA came to see the progress of the project funded by SIDA, and they visited GeedDeeble_Botanic_Garden to see how work is going on the botanic garden and, in general, the botanic garden landscape. They also observed the steps that had been taken and were very pleased with the progress of the process. They promised to strengthen their efforts to address environmental issues.
The Director-General of the Ministry of Environment, Mr. Abdikarim Adem also spoke and said that as a ministry they are ready to work with them, and now they are working closely with BVO.

The Deputy Governor of the Maroodi-jeh region, Mr. Khadar Barud, mentioned that they are very pleased with the conservation project on behalf of the Maroodijeex region and are ready to work closely.
The project manager of the botanic garden, Ahmed, expressed his gratitude to Hoearec and SIDA and the members of the government led by the Deputy Governor of the Maroodi-jeh region and the Director-General of the Ministry of Environment and Rural Development, saying that the work is progressing well now. They all agreed that they would work together to achieve a common goal.
