BVO has an important role in health and maternity care in Somaliland through improving women’s and children’s health by increasing access, availability, and utilization of key health services, as well as strengthening the health system. A child’s health includes physical, mental, and social well-being.
Barwaaqo Voluntary Organization (BVO) is a non-political, non-governmental and non-profit making development action-oriented and advocacy organization that was founded in 1996 by a committed gender balanced group in Somaliland.
